Vionic Flip Flop Review

Vionic Flip Flop ReviewSince today, June 19, is national flip flop day, I decided I would share my review of Vionic’s Tide II Toe Post Sandals with you.

I don’t know about you, but I had never heard of Vionic before, so I was a little intrigued when I received a solicitation via email. Apparently, they have Orthaheel® technology that t  helps reduce over pronation which can relieve associated common pains.

Let’s face it, the majority of us either over pronate or under pronate. Very few of us have perfect stances and according to Vionic’s literature, our feet “were designed to walk on soft, natural surfaces like soil and sand. Yet, most of our time, we are standing, walking and running on unnatural, hard, flat surfaces.”

They say that this loss of our footprint has resulted in pain that you can feel throughout your entire body, including aching legs, back pain, heel pain, ball of foot pain, bunions, flat feet, knee pain and even shin pain.

Vionics makes an array of shoes including flip flops. They all have a deep heel cup, soft toe bed and a firm yet flexible midsole. What does this come down to? COMFORT!

Now I’m not one to wear flip flops. I find them quite uncomfortable. But, when I slid my feet into these handsome babies, my feet felt unbelievably happy!

The toe part usually rubs my inner big toe and causes a blister, but this didn’t happen at all with the Vionic. It really was sheer comfort from the moment I put them on and you know what? They looked pretty cool too.

Vionic Flip Flop ReviewThe ones I have are navy blue with blue crystals. You can dress them up or dress them down.

In addition to the look and the comfort of the flip flops, what I also like about the company is, if you buy a pair and are not satisfied, they will give you a full refund within 30 days guaranteed!

Lastly, some of the profits go toward the Weil Foundation, which is dedicated to furthering integrated medicine through training, education and research. This always makes me think highly of a company when they give back.

Will I wear the Vionics? Definitely. I plan on using them for recovery after I go for a long run, cycle, swim or all three combined. I would definitely recommend checking out a pair. I think they will be worth your while and if you’re not happy, you can always get your money back.
